Which of these 15 sporting power couples will Woods and Vonn emulate? - 14-times Major golf champion Tiger Woods has gone public with his exciting relationship with tasty American skier Lindsey Vonn - but will the new lovers' high-profile sporting careers benefit from the attention that is bound to come their way? Not all love games in sport work out for the best, but some were a rousing success - as these 15 all-sport power couples discovered.

1. Tennis's golden couple Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf

These two got together when Graf retired in 1999 before they married in 2001. Graf won 22 Grand Slam titles with Agassi lifting the last of his eight major gongs at the Australian Open two years after tying the knot with the German champion. It certainly didn't affect the American's form.

Game on or turn off? With two children, millions in the bank and a 12-year marriage apparently going strong, it remains well and truly game on for these two.

2. Former tennis champ Chris Evert and golfing superstar Greg Norman

Chris Evert, winner of 18 tennis Grand Slams, saw a few men head for the exit door in her personal life, including multiple men's tennis champion Jimmy Connors and failed marriages to British player John Lloyd and skier Andy Mill - but all seemed well when she hooked up with former world number one golfer Greg Norman in 2007. With new wife Evert in tow, Norman led the Open after 63 holes in 2008 and narrowly failed to land a third Claret Jug at the age of 53.

Game on or turn off? Turn off. Was game on when they married in June 2008, but within 18 months they were divorced. Norman is now onto his third marriage. Life in the old shark yet.

3. Golfer Adam Scott and tennis player Ana Ivanovic

What has been described as an on-off relationship didn't exactly help the Aussie Adam Scott initially as his game nosedived. Was ranked third in the world in 2008 before falling out of the top 50 in 2009, but seems to have gotten his head together in recent times with second-place finishes at the US Masters and Open. Ivanovic finished 2012 ranked 13th in the world, her highest position since 2008.

Game on or turn off? Geography has apparently killed their relationship. They can't be together long enough. Might be no bad thing for either person. Probably a turn off.

4. World number one golfer Rory McIlroy and tennis star Caroline Wozniacki

Northern Irishman McIlroy has been dating former women's world number one tennis player Caroline Wozniaki since 2011. They are both regularly seen at tournaments supporting each other's respective careers.

Game on or turn off? Looks like game on. Wozniaki reached the final at Indian Wells last weekend while McIlroy, winner of two Majors with more surely to come, seems to have more trouble with his new clubs than his love life. Or we hope that is the case.

5. Indian tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik

Mirza is very much a journeywoman professional, but is easily the best India has produced despite reaching a world ranking high of only 27. Shoaib is a Pakistan cricketer and former captain of his country.

Game on or turn off? Malik is now based in Dubai and with his best days apparently behind him at Test level, the marriage seems to be holding firm after three years - with Mirza reaching the last eight of the 2013 Aussie Open mixed doubles alongside Bob Bryan.

6. Former England rugby union skipper Mike Tindall and royal equestrian heroine Zara Phillips

Tindall and the Queen's granddaughter engaged in December 2010 and were married eight months later.

Game on or turn off? Tindall's career with England crashed and burned within months of the wedding as he was thrown out of the elite squad and fined £25,000 for misconduct during his country's disastrous World Cup campaign in New Zealand in 2011... apparently, for boozed-up dwarf throwing. No such problems for Phillips, who won a silver medal at the London Olympics as part of the GB eventing team. Remains game on, but a real turn off for Tindall's England career.

7. Tennis legend Roger Federer and former women's tennis player Miroslava Vavrinec/Mirka Federer

Not much you can say about these two except that Mirka has been the power behind the throne in Federer's rise to dominance of the men's game. Reached number 76 in the world in the women's game before a foot injury saw her retire to concentrate on supporting her future husband as he embarked upon carrying off 17 Grand Slams with perhaps more to follow. Married in 2009 after several years together.

Game on or turn off? With Federer arguably the greatest player in the history of tennis, millions of pounds in the bank, a resoundingly professional public persona and the father of two twin girls, this marriage looks set to run and run. A bit like the artful Roger on the court.

8. Tennis champion Kim Clijsters and American basketball player Brian Lynch

Married in 2007 with former professional basketball player Lynch on hand to watch Clijsters cap a successful comeback by winning the US Open in 2009.

Game on or turn off? Both are retired and can focus on their family life. Looks like game on.

9. Former women's world tennis number one Martina Hingis and male tennis 'player' Radek Stepanek

Most people agree that Radek Stepanek does not possess your classic good looks, but that doesn't seem to get in the way when it comes to the ladies. A crafty Czech tennis player of journeyman proportions despite once reaching number eight in the world, Stepanek also seems to be a 'player' off the court. Here he is pictured during his fling with former women's world number one Martina Hingis, who incidentally saw a relationship with Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia collapse in previous times.

Game on or turn off? Engaged for a while but split in 2007. Turn off for this one. Not that the rampant Radek is a man to take failure lying down... on his own, anyway...

10. Czech tennis 'player' Radek Stepanek and Nicole Vaidisova

You can't keep a good Rad down as Stepanek got back on the horse for a love game with fellow Czech tennis player Nicole Vaidisova, who has been retired since 2010 despite being only 23. Apparently, because she was fed up. Let's hope her 2010 marriage doesn't follow a similar path.

Game on or turn off? Vaidisova saw her husband help the Czechs upset Spain to win last year's Davis Cup with the decisive win against Nicolas Almagro in the singles. Who knows where this one will end up? With Radek, you never can tell.

11. Russian tennis superstar Maria Sharapova and basketball player Sasha Vujačić

Grand Slam winner Sharapova has been strongly linked to Bulgarian male player Grigor Dmitrov in recent months, which may or may not explain the collapse of her three-year relationship with Vujacic. The two confirmed that their engagement was off last year.

Game on or turn off? Game well and truly off. Never to be replayed it seems.

12. Russian tennis babe Anna Kournikova and ice hockey hero Sergei Fedorov

Before Kournikova became better known as Enrique Iglesias's girlfriend some 12 years ago, the younger Kournikova's personal life usurped her somewhat mediocre career as a tennis player. Dated the Detroit Red Wings ice hockey star Federov before finding romance elsewhere. Federov progressed to fame and fortune in the NHL while injuries ended the competitive career of Kournikova a decade ago. Not that it seems to matter.

Game on or turn off? Game off, but Kournikova remains a turn on for most blokes whether or not they like tennis.

13. Tennis player Maria Kirilenko and ice hockey star Alex Ovechkin

Engaged a couple of months ago with Washington Capitals forward Ovechkin watching Kirilenko at various tournaments. Kirilenko is number 13 in the world and reached the last eight at Wimbledon in 2012.

Game on or turn off? Apparently discussing wedding plans. Looks like game on. 

14. Golden cycling duo Laura Trott and Jason Kenny

The British duo announced their relationship soon after striking gold for GB in track cycling at last year's London Olympics. The pair pitched up at Horse Guards Parade to drink beer and enjoy a mildly tipsy snog in front of the beach volleyball, with David Beckham listening in.

Game on or turn off? A golden game on for these two.

15. British skating legands Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean

These two recently admitted that they "dabbled" a bit before deciding it would be detrimental to their golden careers. The ice dance duo, who won gold at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo and then bronze in Lillehammer 10 years later, confirmed the affair in an interview with Piers Morgan.

The episode of Morgan's "Life Stories" has not yet been broadcast but the former Daily Mirror editor tweeted: "BREAKING NEWS 'Yes, we dabbled...' - @torvillanddean finally admit to a romantic past together, albeit a very short one... #LifeStories".
