When you think of head tennis, instant thoughts turn to a tough cold Tuesday night at Stoke City.
But step forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who along with tennis supremo Rafael Nadal, has turned the idea into a more attractive format…albeit on a tennis court.
In an advert for Nike, the Real Madrid forward interrupts the Spaniard during training to challenge him to a match, except Ronaldo doesn’t use a racket.
It turns out the former Manchester United forward isn’t too bad on a tennis court either as he heads, volleys and smashes efforts back at Nadal – obviously thanks to his footwear that provides a seamless fit, touch and traction that delivers explosive speed.
So much so that even Rafa has to try them, who is impressed enough to not give them back again. We wait to see if Nadal lines up with them at the French Open come May though.
