Fuming X Factor audience accuse ITV of only choosing 'good-looking' fans to sit behind judges. X Factor bosses have been accused of only choosing ‘good-looking’ people to sit behind the judges at auditions so that ‘ugly’ audience members won’t be caught on camera.
The allegations came from ‘ordinary-looking’ fans who claimed that despite booking priority tickets well in advance for the show, they were held back as prettier people were picked to sit behind Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia.
After the disappointed X Factor fans left Birmingham’s LG Arena this week, they made sure to vent their anger on the internet.

One fan wrote on a forum: ‘It’s an absolute joke! I went yesterday, they pick attractive people to sit at the front, regardless of priority (ticketing) or where they are in the queue.
‘I was so gutted when I was in my seat, I had tears in my eyes.’
Another blogger complained on showbiz site Digital Spy, saying: ‘They go through the queue and pick the good-looking ones.’
And as angry audience members came away disappointed from their X Factor experience, attractive and young fans wrote about their exciting experience of being picked for the front row, The Sun reported.

One girl tweeted: ‘Just got pulled out of the queue because we’re young and really, really ridiculously good looking so we get to sit by the judges.’
The pretty fans who are lucky enough to have their faces shown on TV will also be easier than ever to recognise because The X Factor is being filmed in HD for the first time this year.
And it’s not only the audience who are attractive – the guest judges who are temporarily replacing Dannii Minogue while she’s on maternity leave have all been stunning additions to the panel.
